Embracing Diversity and Inclusion

At Electrolux Professional Group, we believe that diversity and inclusion are not just values; they are essential to our success. Our commitment to fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered is unwavering. This commitment is reflected in our ongoing initiatives, such as the “Managing Unconscious Bias” workshop series, launched in Spring 2024.

We recognize that unconscious biases can create barriers to equality and hinder our ability to fully leverage the diverse talents within our organization. To address this, we have launched a series of workshops designed to raise awareness about these biases and equip our employees with the tools to manage them effectively.

Managing Unconscious Bias Workshops

The workshops have been designed to raise awareness on the invisible barriers to being inclusive, and to inspire actions to manage them and contribute to a more inclusive workplace for all. It equips participants with insights and tools necessary to recognize and manage unconscious biases. The success of these workshops is evident in the enthusiastic participation and high Net Promoter Score of 87, with close to 400 participants so far. This score not only reflects the value of the workshops but also the commitment of our colleagues to creating a more inclusive environment.

The content was designed taking a lot of inspiration from similar initiative carried out by other large, global companies, enriched with findings and research studies from many different renown institutions.

Our ongoing efforts and ambitious goals

The “Managing Unconscious Bias” workshops are part of our broader strategy to achieve greater gender balance in leadership roles. We aim for more than 40% of our people leader roles to be held by women by 2030.
